Church Planter Opportunity
We are seeking a Church Planter.  Central is located in downtown Huntsville.  This position will entail the creation of a new church - we are calling this concept a "church within a church."  This new ministry will operate: under the authority of the Session of Central; with direct oversight and supervision by the Pastor; as a semi-autonomous ministry of Central; under the administrative and financial umbrella of Central; with the option of eventually forming a particular church.  This new ministry will target a demographic not presently well represented at Central (under 35), but will not be exclusive to that group. The person called to this position will:

Have satisfactorily completed a Church Planter's Assessment course (provide report/assessment documentation)

Have strong entrepreneurial gifts and give evidence of past activity

Be ordained or have the potential to be ordained

Have strong communication skills

Have a well developed understanding of, and vision for church planting

Have a Meyers-Briggs, DISC or other personality assessment score conducive to church planting needs

Attempt new things for the Lord

Be authentic and able to deal with the new and changing

Be spiritually mature so as to operate independently

We have recently moved out of the PCUSA through the New Wineskins with this type of church plant in mind.  We have just finished construction on a new facility across the street from our present location and await the person of the Lord's choosing to begin this new ministry.  Interested candidates should contact us at:
