Central Preschool is an early childhood development program ministering to the needs of families with young children.  Our goal is to assist parents in laying a strong foundation for the future building blocks of academic thinking and community services.  We've created an environment that is not only conducive to developmental success but also challenging to the senses and nourishing to the spirit.  We offer weekly Bible, Art, and Music enrichment classes.  Our trained, qualified, and loving staff is committed to helping and encouraging children to interact with their environment.  We appreciate each child's unique character and we seek to find ways to enhance their skills and spirituality.  An array of lessons and activities are arranged and organized so the children can "play-to-learn".  We take field trips to places of interest that serve to broaden the child's understanding of God's creation and the community in which they live.  It is our hope that any child who participates in our program will benefit from the love and nurturing of our teachers; feels good about themselves and their accomplishments; and is equipped with the character necessary to handle future challenges and experiences.

- Our Mission -

Develop Character

children playing in fountainIt is our desire at Central Presbyterian to cultivate a Christ-like character in children by imparting to them the fruit of the Spirit, a will to seek God's purpose for their lives and a curiosity to actively explore God's marvelous creation.

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.  Galatians 5:22

We believe the fruit of the Spirit preserves the seeds of character necessary for preparing children to grow in knowledge.

Instill Wisdom

The fear of God is the beginning of knowldege. Proverbs 1:7

We believe a child rooted in the knowledge of God is best prepared to meet the challenges of life and grow in their understanding of truth.

Foster Individuality

children praising the LordIt is our desire to provide an environment rich with information, instruction rooted in love and activity which stimulates the minds, bodies, and souls of children.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

We believe that tailoring curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique developmental and skill levels of children helps foster positive academic achievement, successfully promotes confidence and instills a unique joy for discovery.
